Charles Schultz is a nationally recognized California attorney who specializes in charitable giving and estate planning. He is Founder and President of Crescendo Interactive, Inc. and is the principal author of the Crescendo Planned Giving Software and the GiftLegacy Pro eMarketing System, a nationally prominent provider of gift planning resources to the charitable industry. Each year he is producer and moderator for the popular GiftLaw teleconferences. In addition, he is Editor for the GiftLaw.com charitable tax planning web site, the GiftLaw Pro charitable tax service and also edits the weekly GiftLaw and GiftLegacy eNewsletters.
Charles writes, speaks and publishes extensively. He teaches over 30 planned giving seminars per year and is President of GiftCollege.com, an Internet education program for gift planners and professional advisors. He also serves as Executive Director of GiftAttorney.com, an association of attorneys with charitable receptivity. His law degree is from the University of Michigan with a tax specialization from Washington University School of Law. Charles is on the Board of Directors of The Kingdom Center. Charles served on the management of a charitable foundation in his early career. He is a member of Living Oaks Community Church in Newbury Park, and is active in leadership and educational ministries. His experiences have inspired his faithful commitment to advancing stewardship within Christian communities for decades.
